In 1968, Studio 1 released the What Kind of World Riddim, originally a song by The Cables, but later made famous by Barrington Levy on "21 Girl Salute." In 2000, VP Records gave it a second-go and released the Down By The River Riddim. Morgan Heritage headlines the remake with "Down By The River," a feel good tune that will get you whistling along. Freddie McGregor sounds great on "I See It In You," and don't miss Dean Fraser's saxophone on the instrumental, "Mr. Saxman." Also check out Anthony Cruz's "Missing You" and Sanchez's "Pretty Girl."
